Privacy Policy

Effective date: 10 October 2026 · Last updated: 10 October 2026

Your construction records stay on your device. Concrete Pour Log does not require an account or provide cloud synchronisation. Online services are used for purchases and optional weather forecasts. You decide when to export or share a report.

1. Who is responsible

Concrete Pour Log is provided by Nikolaj Brandt, Denmark (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Concrete Pour Log iPhone app and its GitHub Pages website. For privacy questions or requests, contact everwiseprojects@gmail.com.

2. Records, photos and reports

The app stores the information you enter locally on your device. This can include project and delivery details, test results, notes, deviations, names, photos, signatures and generated PDF reports. We do not operate a server that receives or stores your construction records, photos or reports, and these are not sent to RevenueCat as part of purchase processing.

Only include personal information that you are entitled to record. Photos, signatures and notes may identify other people. You remain responsible for the information you enter and for choosing appropriate report recipients.

Device backups, copies saved outside the app and files exported to other services may be handled by Apple or the services you choose, according to your settings and their policies. Local storage does not mean that copies you export or back up remain only inside the app.

3. Camera and photo access

When you choose to take or attach a photo, the app uses the relevant iOS camera or photo-selection permissions. Selected images are used for your records and reports. You can change permissions in iPhone Settings. Denying access may prevent the corresponding photo feature from working.

4. Optional weather and location

Weather forecasts use the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway). When you request weather and allow location access, the app obtains your location while it is in use. Coordinates are rounded to two decimal places before being sent directly over HTTPS to the MET Norway forecast API. This reduces precision but still reveals an approximate area.

The weather provider receives the coordinates and the network information necessary to handle the request, such as your IP address. Forecast information may be cached on your device or included in a record when you save it. The app does not use background location tracking. You can refuse or revoke location permission and continue recording pours without automatic weather.

Provider information: MET Norway weather API documentation.

5. Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple processes in-app payments. We do not receive your payment card details. The app uses RevenueCat to retrieve purchase options, validate purchases, restore access and determine whether Pro features are available.

RevenueCat processes an app user identifier, purchase and receipt/transaction information, subscription or entitlement status, and technical information needed to provide its service. An anonymous app identifier is not the same as collecting no data. Purchase-related diagnostics may be used to investigate problems.

See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy for their handling of information.

6. Sharing and support

Reports are shared only when you initiate an export or sharing action. The app passes the selected file to the destination you choose through iOS. Email, messaging, cloud storage and other receiving services then handle it under their own policies. We cannot retrieve or delete copies held by recipients.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot and handle privacy requests. Avoid sending confidential project information unless it is necessary for your request.

7. Website and service logs

This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes and may process additional technical request information. See GitHub’s Privacy Statement. This website does not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts.

Online providers may keep operational, security and diagnostic logs for the services described above. This policy does not describe provider logging as “no data collection”.

8. Purposes and legal bases

Where EU/EEA data protection law applies, we process information necessary to provide requested services and purchase access to perform our contract with you; support and essential troubleshooting on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating and maintaining the app; and information required by law to meet legal obligations. Where consent is required, you can withdraw it. iOS permission controls let you decide whether to enable camera, photo or location features.

We do not sell your personal information or use your construction records for advertising.

9. Retention and deletion

Local records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app’s local data. Uninstalling the app normally removes its local application data, but does not remove exported reports, original photos, recipient copies or device backups. Manage those separately through the relevant device or service.

Support correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, related follow-up and any applicable legal requirements. Purchase records and service logs are retained according to the relevant provider’s obligations and retention policies. You can contact us to request deletion of information we hold; some records may need to be retained for legal reasons. We cannot remotely access or delete records stored only on your device.

10. Providers and international processing

Apple, RevenueCat, GitHub and the email service used for support may process information outside your country, including outside the EU/EEA. Their policies describe applicable locations and transfer safeguards. Where we are responsible for an international transfer, we use the safeguards required by applicable law, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses where appropriate. Contact us for information about processing relating to your request.

11. Your rights

Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. Email us to exercise these rights. We may need information to verify your request, but do not send unnecessary identity documents. You can also complain to your local data protection authority; in Denmark this is Datatilsynet.

12. Security and children

Online requests described here use HTTPS. Protect your device with its available security controls and take care when sharing reports. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Concrete Pour Log is intended for professional construction documentation and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The current version and update date will be published on this page. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
